Spring is a time of all things becoming new. At the Holland Book Mart we are taking that to the next level! Big changes are in the works! We are changing our name, our location, and our ability to serve you, our customers. First our name. We completed a survey last fall and the winner was also our favorite. We are now “The Next Chapter“. This new branding encapsulates our personal life as a family turning a page becoming small business owners, the life of this business growing and expanding its vision, and the life of our vast number of used books that find new life in the hands of another reader. Second our location. We are moving from Washington Ave. to the corner of Waverly and Chicago Avenue, near B2 Outlet and Engedi Church. This area is easily accessible from the south side, the north side and the Zeeland areas. Our hope is to expand the community of patrons we serve. Finally, our scope of service. We are increasing the ways we serve our community. We are adding space! There will be space to sit, relax and read! We plan to expand our non-fiction section, homeschool resources, and other offerings. Also, we are building a classroom space to be used for group meetings, learning activities, and community events. This is the next chapter of life. And we want to be there for your next chapter, too! The precise dates and details of our move are coming soon. Stay tuned. |
